With over 17 years of experience in databases and a current Microsoft MVP, Ike Ellis is recognized as one of the best and brightest independent SQL Server experts. Ike is an exceptional community leader who shares his extensive technical expertise with prominent businesses, learners, and user groups. He provides indispensable feedback to Microsoft as a member of SAGO (Microsoft's group of SQL Azure Experts). Ike has been Microsoft certified since the beginning, currently holding an MCDBA, MCSE, MCSD, and MCT. He is a popular lecturer and consultant known for his reliability, industry credibility, and communication skills.

Ike is currently the principal SQL Instructor and SQL Course Author for DevelopMentor. In 2000, he created his own consulting business, EllisTeam, based on the belief that business owners not only want the best but a resource who actually cares about their business.

Rob Schafer


Rob Schafer is a Senior Consultant for Neudesic in Denver, CO. For over 5 years, he has been focusing his career on the areas of Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, Reporting, and Cloud Technologies for a variety of clients across industries. He is very active in the SQL Server community and has spoken at several regional conferences, SQL Saturday, and local user groups. Rob has a MS in Information Technology from The University of Denver and also holds his MCTS.

Glenn Alan Berry

Glenn works as a Database Architect at Avalara in Denver, Colorado. He is a SQL Server MVP, and he has a whole collection of Microsoft certifications, including MCITP, MCDBA, MCSE, MCSD, MCAD, and MCTS, which proves that he likes to take tests. He is also an Adjunct Faculty member at University College – University of Denver, where has been teaching since 2000. He recently completed the Master Teacher Program at University College.

Scott Golightly

Scott Golightly is owner and president of Grokev LLC. With nearly 20 years of industry experience in a variety of roles in the software development lifecycle, Scott can provide not only technical but business knowledge to help solve complex problems. Scott loves to learn about new technologies and then help others to also grok how they can be used. Scott is an experience speaker and trainer. He has taught classes around the world on various technical and business topics. Scott has spoken at many user groups, code camps, TechEd breakout sessions and Tech Ready. Scott has held many industry certifications. When he is not working on a computer he enjoys spending time with his family and being in the outdoors.

Lynn Langit

Lynn Langit spent 4 years at Microsoft as a Developer Evangelist. Last October, she left Microsoft to rejoin the consulting and training world. Lynn has been working with SQL Server since 6.5 and she has published several books on SQL Server BI. She has also written technical courseware for on SQL Server, Hadoop. MongoDB and Google App Engine. Her latest course is Essential SQL Server 2012 for Developers. Lynn is also working in the world of NoSQL, exploring both Hadoop and MongoDB. Lynn's blog can be found on her site. She is also the co-founder of non-profit Teaching Kids Programming which is part of the MONA Foundation.
