In this session, we will discuss newborn babywearing. This will include the benefits of babywearing, which carriers are appropriate for a newborn, how to ensure the baby's safety and comfort and how to nurse in a carrier. There will also be video demonstrations on how to use several types of carriers so that a doula can wear the baby or assist a family wishing to wear their baby.
