Manufacturing Success with SharePoint

Microsoft SharePoint provides a wide array of capabilities which manufacturing companies may use to improve operational efficiency. In this hour-long, free Web seminar, you will learn how Microsoft SharePoint can help solve some of the major IT issues in the manufacturing industry including how to improve collaboration related to product design, testing and safety certification; enable ‘follow the sun’ engineering; integrate with vendor systems; and create extranets for vendors, partners, and customers.

In this session join SharePoint expert Todd Baginski and other speakers who will discuss how the robust document management capabilities SharePoint enable organizations to automate paper-driven processes to better support procurement and sales forecasting; and provide the ability to integrate line of business applications with vendor systems. Finally, the session presents an actual customer solution describing how replication technology can be used to support a distributed SharePoint architecture that further enhances collaboration with extended project management teams across firewalls.
