How SharePoint Increases Efficiency in the Oil & Gas Industry

Microsoft SharePoint provides a wide array of capabilities which Oil & Gas companies may use to improve operational efficiency. In this hour-long, free Web seminar, you will learn how Microsoft SharePoint can help solve some of the major IT issues in the Oil & Gas industry including how to improve data collection and collaboration related to upstream operations; create workflows with global participants; preserve internal knowledge, and maintain company policies and procedures in line with the latest regulatory compliance and controls.

In this session join SharePoint expert Todd Baginski and other speakers who will discuss how the robust document management and business intelligence capabilities SharePoint offers provides employees real time access to information that enhances their employee’s ability to make decisions and take action. You will also learn how SharePoint workflows enhance efficiency by driving processes to ensure collaboration happens in real time around the globe. Finally, the session will describe how replication technology can be used to support a distributed SharePoint architecture that further enhances collaboration with extended project management teams and keeps information both current and accessible around the world.
