Susan is a results-oriented leader and entrepreneurial professional with extensive experience in start-up environments, strategic planning, business development, business process and building client, partner and vendor relationships.
Since 2014, Susan has worked as President of Radius Renovation Group (formerly SGF Contracting Services) a multi-state renovation and repair company that services investors of single-family residential real estate. Prior to the inception of SGF, Susan was involved in the REO property preservation industry. In 2007, she formed and grew a national field services company called Safe Harbor Field Services based in Braintree, MA, and then joined a large regional field services company called Midwest-Metro in 2012. The inception of SGF in 2014 was part of her strategic plan to move from serving banks and mortgage entities to real estate investors, as the housing climate shifted and foreclosures dramatically declined.
A native of Boston, MA, Susan’s background includes magazine publishing, marketing, and non-profit management. A graduate of Simmons College in Boston with a degree in management, she recently obtained a certificate in non-profit management from the University of North Carolina. She is now a board member of Rebuilding Together – Charlotte, a nonprofit whose mission is to make critical repairs and improvements on homes so that elderly and veteran homeowners can age in place. Susan resides in Mooresville, NC, the home of beautiful Lake Norman and enjoys boating and the lake life with her husband, Mark and daughter Olivia. She is also an avid New England Patriots fan – but don’t hold that against her.
