Bringing joy to childbirth education classes and birth workers through evidenced based teaching strategies is my passion!
I believe in caring for others by creating a warm, culturally sensitive, student-centered classroom environment. In every workshop, I strive to forge a cherished relationship with each student.  Thoughtful and interactive teaching techniques are offered during this fun, engaging and sometimes challenging educational journey.  My goal is to help you create a solid educational foundation that will support you in a gratifying life long career.  I want to listen to YOU! The work of an educator is different because we help you overcome those basic academic challenges so you can focus on the delights of serving as a birth worker.

Tell me what will make your life easier, I have no preset agenda, cookie cutter options or one size fits all workshop plan. Everything we do together starts with conversations about what is challenging you most and ends with a “next step” plan, based on knowledge, information and evidenced based research.

With birthing experience and influences from around the globe, I work with you to bring excitement and pleasure to all of the families that you will serve. Transforming your educational space to look and smell amazing by incorporating candles and aromatherapy is just one of the small things I can teach. I have had the honor and privilege of supporting more that 1000 doctors, midwives, nurses, childbirth educators, doula’s, lactation consultants and yoga instructors start this rewarding birthing career. I have also helped hospitals develop and implement award-winning hospital-based doula programs. If you are looking for a fun and engaging way of obtaining continuing education credits, these workshops are your answer. ALL workshops are accredited through the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) for 16 hours. Please consider bringing a workshop to your community and together, we will work towards improving birth outcomes.
