Dr. Gold is a board certified cardiologist who has been in private practice for over 20 yrs. After graduating from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine he did a 1 year rotating internship. He performed his internal medicine residency at Long Island Jewish Medical center and Cardiology fellowship at the Manhattan VA/NYU medical center. He spent an additional year at the University of Massachusetts medical center as an interventional fellow.
Dr. Gold has expertise in clinical cardiology and has spent the majority of his career in the cardiac catheterization lab performing invasive cardiac procedures. Over the past decade Dr.Gold has focused on preventive cardiology with a keen interest in vascular biology, lipids and has taken advanced training in metabolic cardiology. He resides in Westfield NJ with his wife Vivian and 3 children
