Over the last 30 years, Mr. Binkowitz has had extensive experience in retail operations, merchandising & marketing, manufacturing & distribution, technology development, national sales, and on-site interactive consulting. With the development of GPN™, he created a unique company that provides independent practitioners with business management tools and processes and is the founder of The EDGE.
He is currently the Executive Vice President of Business Strategy and Field Operations for Total Eye Care Partners. Together with Dr. Ben Gaddie as the Chief Medical Officer, this new platform provides a shift by creating a collaborative shareholder based relationship for Independents. Total ECP will provide best in class medical model services along with full time business management support and infrastructure allowing the doctors to focus on full scope comprehensive patient care.
Mr. Binkowitz served 2 years as the Benedict professor at the Houston College of Optometry. He has published articles in many eye care industry magazines and is a key note speaker at many industry events, both domestically and internationally. Jay's personal passion include scuba diving , under water photography, international travel and most importantly time with his wife Bettina as well as his family and friends.
