Jeffrey Mays is part of a team of brothers heading up Novare Science & Math and Centripetal Press. Besides overseeing marketing and technical development, Jeffrey is a writer and conference speaker. His role involves speaking to teachers and homeschooling parents year-round to solve problems and help develop excellent science programs. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Master’s from Covenant Seminary. Jeffrey has been a teacher of science, history, and mathematics in middle and high grades, both public and private schools. He also homeschooled one of his own children from 10-12th grade. He is currently pursuing an MFA program in Creative Writing. Jeffrey is a novelist and short story writer. His debut novel The Former Hero was published in 2014 by AEC Stellar Publishing. He the father of four adult children and lives in Austin, Texas.
