Arthur B. Epstein, OD, FAAO, FBCLA, DPNAP is a native New Yorker who graduated from the State University of New York, State College of Optometry. After relocating to Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Epstein co-founded Phoenix Eye Care, PLLC and The Dry Eye Center of Arizona, PLLC and serves as the Director of Cornea - External Disease, Clinical Research and The Dry Eye & Ocular Surface Disease Center. He also heads Ophthalmic Research Consultants of Arizona.
Dr. Epstein is a highly regarded educator and popular speaker. He serves as Clinical Adjunct Associate Professor at the Midwestern University, Arizona College of Optometry and has presented in excess of 1000 invited lectures throughout the world. He is also a prolific author who has published hundreds of articles, scientific papers and book chapters. Dr. Epstein is a reviewer for numerous clinical and scientific journals. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and American Board of Clinical Optometry, a Distinguished Practitioner of the National Academies of Practice and admitted to the American Board of Certification in Medical Optometry.
A Contributing Editor for Review of Optometry and Executive Editor of Review of Cornea and Contact Lenses he founded, and serves as Chief Medical Editor of Optometric Physician™, the first E-Journal in optometry.
