Jason is experienced in agricultural research and management in New Zealand and Australia, having held senior leadership and governance roles in R&D. He managed a large portfolio of meat and fibre research projects at AgResearch, before joining AbacusBio in 2014. Today, Jason works with commercial clients across the value chain – from on-farm through to processing and marketing – identifying opportunities to add value for their businesses. Jason has expertise in beef cattle breeding and management and is heavily involved in the B+LNZ Beef Progeny Test. He has a PhD in agricultural animal breeding from the University of Adelaide.
