Please be aware that event organizers may have their own privacy policies governing how they use your information. This may include sharing your information with their sponsors and exhibitors or using it for their internal marketing purposes. We strongly encourage you to review the specific privacy policies of the events you register for to understand their data practices.

Order Forms and Financial Information:

  • Our site may use order forms for you to request information, products, and services.
  • We collect contact information, unique identifiers, and potentially financial information (like credit card numbers) through these forms.

  • Within the vConferenceOnline platform during an event, you can create a social profile.
  • In the event’s Help Center, navigate to the Privacy Center and then Social Profile to:
    • Update your profile picture.
    • Add social media links.
    • Control the visibility of your profile to other attendees (public or private).
  • Note: Setting your profile to “Private” only affects the visibility of your social links in chat. It does not impact any sharing of your contact information with event organizers and sponsors as outlined in this policy.

Your Rights to Access and Correct Your Information:

  • You can access, review, and correct your personal information that we collect and maintain online by accessing your profile within the event platform. This is typically located in the Help Center -> Privacy Center.
  • You can update factual errors in your information through the online forms available there, by sending us a verifiable request (see contact information below), or by contacting our technical support chat during an event.
  • To protect your privacy and security, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.

Public Forums:

  • Our site may offer chat rooms, forums, message boards, and news groups.
  • Please remember that any information you disclose in these public areas becomes public information. Exercise caution when deciding to share your personal information in these settings.

Security:
